Origin/meaning
The arms were adopted on November 19, 1943.
The arms show the patron saint, St. Martin,of the local church, which is known since the 10th century. The colours are taken from the arms of the Lordship of Waldenburg, to which the municipality belonged between 1200 and 1400.
