Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on February 12, 1998 and confirmed on September 5, 2006.
The arms show the schooner "Vostok", which landed the first founders of Tikhmenevo. The white background is a symbol of a bright future. The waves are the symbol of the sea, the river Poronai and the port city. The golden rim of the waves is a symbol of the sun, which every morning rises from across the sea.
