Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on September 8, 1987.
The three feet are taken from the arms of the Rabenstein zu Döhlau family, which owned a few castles/estates in the area and also had the local parish church built. The three fleur-de-lys are taken fro the arms of the Von Pühel family, who lived on the Döhlau castle in the second half of the 17th and the 18th century.
The chief is derived from the arms of the Von Uttenhofen family, medieval lords of the Tauperlitz estate. The chief also refers to the ancient defence walls still visible near Tauperlitz and Kautendorf.
