Escudo: Campo partido orlado con bordura disminuída o filiera. 1. Cuartel derecho: Izquierdo según se mira. En campo de sinople las insignias jacobeas de los peregrinos compostelanos, que son dos bordoncillos situados en aspa, con cuatro veneras santiaguescas en los ángulos, todo ello en su color. 2. Cuartel izquierdo: Derecho según se mira. En campo de plata, metal utilizado para simbolizar el agua, ondas de azur, representación heráldica del rio. 3. Filiera o bordura disminuida: Cruces treboladas de sable en campo plata, castillos oro en campo gules, veros de azur en campo plata colocados en el orden que corresponde estos respectivos blasones.
