Badge: Argent in base a barrulet wavy Azure, overall an osprey rising grasping in its claws a fish proper.
Motto: VOCATIONI RESPONDERE PARATI SEMPER.

Origin/meaning

The osprey is the provincial bird of Nova Scotia, where the battalion is located. The wavy stripes are found on the badges of the battalion’s predecessor units. The Motto translates as “Always ready to respond to the call”.

The badge was approved by the Canadian Heraldic Authority on the April 15, 2014.
