State : Bayern
District (Kreis) : Landshut
Additions : 1970 Berghofen, Haunwang, Kronwinkl, Viecht
German |
Gespalten von Rot und Silber; vorne eine silberne Zinnenmauer mit zwei Zinnen, hinten eine bewurzelte grüne Fichte. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on August 12, 1975.
The right half is taken from the arms of the Counts of Preysing , who resided in the village Kronwinkl and played a mayor role in the local history.
The pine tree (Fichte) is a canting symbol for Viecht and also symbolises the local forests.
