Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on August 7, 2009.

The arms show a Celtic torque, symbol for the longtime inhabitation of the area. The mountain and the crows are taken on the arms of the old lords of the village, the base refers to the Arratz river. The colours are those of the Occitania region.
