PETAH TIKVA (פתח תקווה)
District : Center
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The shield shape represents the Star of David. The orange tree stands for the vast orchards Petach Tikva was known for and a plow to represent the ideal agricultural lifestyle espoused by the founders of the city.
The text at the bottom says “he who works his land shall eat well”.
