Sinisessä kentässä kultakyljet ja viisi kultaista irtoriukua asetettuina 2+1+2.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on September 19, 1963.

The flanks symbolise narrowing of watercourses as well as Tervosalmi sound in the center of the municipality. The small sticks symbolise floating timber and the importance of forestry and the timber industry for the village.
