GĂLĂUȚAȘ
District/county (județ) : Harghita
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on March 6, 2014.
The cross symbolizes the wooden church dedicated to the Assumption.
The ram's head symbolises the main occupation of the inhabitants, raising sheep.
The mountain represents the geographical situation and the fir tree refers to the forest richness of the area.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
