-The mining settlement was founded probably at the end of the 12th century near the tin-ore mines by the Hroznata family. It is possible that al ready at that time the town's seal received its original design, which was later taken over by the armorial bearings of the town: red-deer antlers from the Hroznata arms with crossed mining hammers in between.
