The point is shaped as a pine tree, symbolising the local forests and the importance of forestry (as well as traditionally also manufacturing of wooden furniture). The two scythes refer to agriculture, but also to the production of scythes in the village, which were exported to as far as Russia. | |||
The two fleur-de-lys are a symbol for St. Mary, the local patron saint. | |||
The pentagram in base is seen here as a symnbol of protection and is taken from the arms of the medieval Von Ramsau family. | |||
