The Panther is inherrited from 700 Squadron, one of the oldest flying unit in the Netherlands. The Orange Triangle was the Netherlands National Emblem on Aircraft during World War II. The Wall is form the arms of the German Kreis Wittlage, where the Squadron was based during the Cold War.
