Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms are based on the arms of Ulrich von Eck, who, in 1352 acquired the town. His arms were divided per bend of silver and black. As canting addition a mill (Mühle) wheel was added to the lower half. When the town became part of Bayern, the upper half was replaced by the arms of Bayern.
