===Origin/meaning===
The arms were officially granted on June 6, 1994.
The arms were officially granted on June 6, 1994.

The oak and linden in the arms symbolise the German unification, as an oak tree was planted on the day of unification and next to it the partner-municipality of Baiern (in Bayern) planted a linden tree. The trees thus symbolise the unification. The escutcheon shows the arms of the Lords of Rudenitz, who lived for a long time in the village and their estate now is the local city hall.
