===Origin/meaning===
The arms were officially granted on January 17, 1994.
The arms were officially granted on January 17, 1994.

The arms combine elements for the three villages in the municipality. The bear symbolises the village of Röpsen itself. The bear refers to a dancing bear, which escaped in 1912 in the village. It took a long time before the bear was finally captured again. The wheat-ears symbolise the village of Negis. Historically the church in Negis had to pay taxes in the form of wheat to the mother church in Dorna. The division line symbolises Dorna, and reminds a blackberry branch, as there used to be a lot of blackberries in the Brahmetal.
