====Official blazon====
===Origin/meaning===
In Rot sechs, drei zu zwei zu eins gestellte silberne heraldische Lilien.
The fleur-de-lis are the legendary (fake) arms of the medieval Counts of Sulzbach and Kastl. They already appear on the oldest known seal of the city, dating from the early 14th century. All later seals and images show the same arms, with the exception from 1364-1396 when the city was part of Bohemia. During this period the seals showed a city wall, with a small shield with the lion of Bohemia. Only once, on a decoration in the city hall dating from 1550, two savages were shown as supporters.
