Origin/meaning

The Anchor is a symbol of Hope and thus alludes to the Name of the Lodge. Haab is Norwegian for Hope. The Band over the Anchor is a Masonic Symbol. The Motto is in Norwegian and translates as "Over the Depths to the Heights".
