Symbolism: Dark green and silver gray are the colors associated with Psychological Operations. White, gray and black refers to the gradation and types of propaganda utilized in the psychological operations mission. The triangle, symbolic of support, indications its support operations. The battalion?s activation in the Canal Zone is depicted by the gold area of the disc narrowed by red, indicative of the Isthmus of Panama (as suggested by the Panama Canal Department shoulder sleeve insignia).
