MIELAGĖNAI
County : Utena
Municipality : Ignalina
Lithuanian | blazon wanted |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on July 27, 2008.
The saltire refers to both geographical and political crossroads: the market square of the town is on a crossing of a few roads, and Mielagėnai had times when its state dependency changed every month.
Green symbolizes freedom, hope and beauty of nature, and gold symbolizes dignity and sun.
