+Shoulder Sleeve Insignia.  Description:   On a shield shaped embroidered device 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height by 2 5/8 inches (6.67 cm) in width blazoned:  Gules, two bendlets Argent superimposed by the head and shoulders of a Patriot of the like and Azure and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Blue border.  Attached above the shield a white scroll inscribed “MADISON” in blue letters and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Blue border.
