|Shoulder Sleeve Insignia.  Description:  On a blue disc edged with a 1/16 inch (.16 cm) yellow border a bald eagle stooping, all encircled by a blue designation band edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) yellow border inscribed “NAPLES HIGH SCHOOL” at top and “GOLDEN EAGLES” at bottom in yellow letters.  The overall dimension is 3 inches (7.62 cm) in diameter. 
 
Shoulder Loop Insignia.  Description:  A Gold colored metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height overall consisting of a shield blazoned:  “Quarterly Or and Azure in the second quarter an eagle’s head Gold and in the third quarter a demi-torch flamant also Gold.  In bend throughout a sword, point to chief of the second.  The shield entoured by a laurel wreath.”  Attached below a tri-parted Blue scroll inscribed “NAPLES HIGH SCHOOL” in base metal.

Shoulder Sleeve Insignia: Dark blue and golden yellow are the school colors.  The golden eagle is the school mascot and reflects the cadets’ patriotic duty to school, community and country.
Shoulder Loop Insignia: Blue and gold are the school colors.  The laurel wreath is a symbol of success, the torch represents knowledge, the sword signifies leadership and the eagle is the school mascot.  Altogether these charges show the unit’s dedication to school and community.


The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 11 December 1996. The shoulder loop insignia was approved on 23 January 2003.
