Official blazon
French De gueules à trois chevrons de vair; au franc-quartier de gueules chargé d'un lion d'or armé et lampassé d'azur.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in 2019.

This coat of arms is inspired by the arms of Gilles d'Amiens, lord of Outrebois and Canaples, as they appear on a seal from 1284 attached to a confirmation of donations granted by Pierre d'Amiens, his father. This document comes from the former Sant-Jean Abbey in Amiens and is kept in the Departmental Archives of the Somme.

This seal shows a shield bearing three chevrons vair, in the free canton charged with a lion. The colours of the house of Amiens are known; those of the lion have been assumed.
