===Origin/meaning===
The arms show a man, holding a grape. Viticulture has always been of high importance to Grinzing, where there are many vintners to this day. There are also many "Heurigen": Traditionally, vintners may open a sort of public house to sell this year's wine ("heuriger Wein") of their own produce.
