Origin/meaning
The upper half shows the arms of the Franche-Comté region.
The tower is the tower of the local 15th century church.
The wavy bars in the fourth quarter represent the three rivers in the municipality₰. Their widths are displayed in order of importance: the Doubs, the Rhône-Rhine Canal and the Vèze.
