TIESCHEN
State : Steiermark
District : Bad Radkersburg
Origin/meaning
The arms of Tieschen show in theupper half an old Celtic ritual object called " Feuerbock ". It was taken as a symbol as there was a Celtic estate on the hill next to Tieschen a long time ago. The lower half shows a bunch of grapes, indicating the importance of viticulture for the village.
