===Origin/meaning===
The arms were officially granted in 1907. The prefix Bad was added in 1981.

====Origin/meaning====
Camberg got city rights in 1281 and 1365. All seals of the city, the oldest dating from the 14th century, show a watch-tower. The shape and size of the tower changed through the centuries, but all seal showed the tower. The two lions are the lions of the Counts of [[Diez]], who owned the city in the 13th century.
