In Silber ein achtspeichiges schwarzes Rad, gekrönt mit einem offenen Helm; auf dem Helm ein in Silber und Schwarz gewundener Wulst mit eine geteilten offenen Flug; dieser oben silbern, unten rot.
The arms date from the late 14<sup>th</sup> century and were granted by the city of Erfurt. The city had bought the village in 1385. The arms show the wheel of [[Erfurt]] at the time (with 8 spokes), in the colours of the Teutonic Order and with the crest of the former Lords of Vargula.
