The arms are devised and adopted in 1941.

The rose is taken from the arms of the [[Seftigen (Bezirk)|Seftigen district]], to which the village belonged historically. The lower part is canting, Stock meaning trunk. The arms are nearly identical to the arms of [[Niederstocken]]. The two stars represent Ober- and Niederstocken. In Niederstocken the trunk is in the (canting) lower half, in Oberstocken in the upper half.
