EICKENRODE
State : Niedersachsen
District (Kreis) : Peine
Incorporated into : 1974 Edemissen
Official blazon
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on October 9, 1961.
The name of the village means 'a place cleared of oak(forest)'. As no historical seals or images were known, the arms were designed in 1961. The arms are canting, showing an oak tree and two axes.
