D'azur au lion d'argent, armé, lampassé et couronné d'oq le champ semé de billenes d'argent.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on March 3, 1914.
The arms are those of the Werchin family. The estate of Wiers became a possession of the family in the 11th century, being the oldest known Lords of Wiers, and remained in their possession until 1545.
