District : Weiz

Wappen von Unterfladnitz

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on May 6, 2007.

The chief shows the Rosetta from the church in Breitegg in the municipality. The wall in the base refers to the former Unterfladnitz castle, destroyed in the 18th century. The black and golden are taken from the medieval Lords of Fladnitz.

The wheat ears refer to the successors of the Lords of Fladnitz, the Lords of Kornberg (meaning wheat-mountain). The also refer to the agricultural character of the municipality and the number refers to the six villages in the municipality.
