BOSANSKA KRUPA

State : Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina
Canton : Una-Sana

Arms (crest) of Bosanska Krupa

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted on June 17, 2009.

The arms show in the base the Una and Krušnica rivers with a water-mill wheel, the Old Bridge and the local fortress. The fleur-de-lys are taken from the national arms and the top of the shield symbolises the local hills. The green symbolises the nature.

Until 2009 the town used rather different arms:

These arms were introduced in the 1990s and show symbols of industry.
