Arms of Rosenholm

Origin/meaning

The arms were registered in 1979.

The arms are canting, the name means rose-island, which is symbolised by a golden 'island' with a rose. The rose is also taken from the arms of the Rosenkrantz family, who owned and founded the Rosenholm estate in 1559.
