MAILLY
Département : Meurthe-et-Moselle
French | De gueules à trois maillets d'or. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
These are the arms of the former Lords of Mailly and in both cases the arms are canting. A maillet is a wooden hammer (mallet) and thus chosen as an appropriate symbol for the family and later the municipality.
