VALEA MĂRULUI

District/county (județ) : Galați

Stema Valea Mărului

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 4, 2013.

The apple (măr) refers to the etymology of the locality.

The two acacia branches symbolize the forest richness of the acacia area.

The Phoenix is a symbol found in the coat of arms of the Mavrocordat family, which was the owner of the Puțeni estate (former name of Valea Mărului village).

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
