Origin/meaning

The arms were officiaslly granted on May 31, 1999.

The blue bend symbolises the Ehrenbach river, which flows through the municipality. The spear-banner is the symbol of St. Mauritius, the patron saint of the local Sankt Moritz chapel. The six stars represent theformer 6 municipalities. The base shows a castle wall, a symbol for the early medieval castle of the Lords of Ludunbach (known to live in the castle from 1079-1203) in the municipality.
