Heraldry of the World Civic heraldry of Austria - Österreichische Gemeindewappen |
NIEDERNDORFERBERG
State : Tirol
District : Kufstein
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on July 21, 1981.
The arms are based on the arms of the Lords of Ebbs, who played a major role in the development of the village, which, until 1863, was known as Ebbsberg. The Blue and silver diamonds are the arms of Bavaria, as the 12 oldest farms used to be a Bavarian possession until 1504. The farms were already mentioned in 1240.
