Spanish | El escudo de Fregenal de la Sierra está compuesto de una zona central y una que rodea a esta que es de color rojo, además de la corona real. En el interior del escudo se encuentran dos fresnos, el arbol de la localidad debido a la influencia templaria en Fregenal pues el fresno era un arbol sagrado para estos monjes-guerreros. Entre los dos fresnos se encuentra un libro cruzado por una espada. En el libro esctrito se puede leer, LITERIS ARMATA ET ARMIS DECORATA. |
