NO 620 SQUADRON, ROYAL AIR FORCE
History: Formed at Chedburgh in June 1943.
Official blazon
In front of a demi pegasus gules winged argent, cuped a flash of lightning argent.
Motto: Dona ferentes adsumus = We are come bringing light.
Origin/meaning
The badge symbolises the Role of the Squadron - Carrying Paratroops, Glider Towing and dropping Supplies and Bombing. The badge was granted in June 1945.
