MARTINFELD

State : Thüringen
District (Kreis) : Eichsfeld
Incorporated into : 1997 Schimberg

Wappen von Martinfeld/Arms (crest) of Martinfeld
Official blazon
German blazon wanted
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on November 3, 1995.

The arms are based on the former seal of the municipality, which dates from 1951. The tower in the arms is the old church tower in the village. The two beech leaves are a symbol for the many (beech) forests in the area.
