Escudo de prata, lanço de muralha com três arcos e duas torres, movente dos flancos, de púrpura, lavrado e iluminado de ouro; em chefe, flor-de-lis de azul; campanha ondada de três burelas de azul e prata. Coroa mural de prata de quatro torres. Listel branco com a legenda a negro, em maiúsculas : “ VILAR MAIOR “.
