(de) In Gold der heilige Petrus wachsend, in blauem Mantel, mit goldenem Nimbus, in der Rechten ein mit dem Bart nach oben gekehrter silberner Schlüssel in der Linken ein rotes Buch mit goldenen Beschlägen.
Origin/meaning
The arms were never officially granted, but used until 1919 by the local council.
The arms are based on the seal of the village, known since 1497. The figure is St. Peter, patron saint of the Chapter of the Worms Cathedral, to whom the local church belonged for many centuries.
