	The arms are based on the arms of the [[Archdiocese of Olomouc\|archibishop of Olomouc]] [[Josef Karel Matocha\|ThDr. et PhDr. Josef Karel Matocha]] 1948 - 1961 who was born in [[Pitín]], a town in the territory of the decanate. The only difference is that the gold sun above the church is replaced with a fleur-de-lis as a representation of the decanate church dedicated to Virgin Mary.
