Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on September 2, 1994.
The old village seal showed a linden tree, and in all five villages in the municipality there is a linden tree in the centre, it was decided to use five linden leaves in the arms. The millstone refers to the former watermill in the Lutschutz river in the municipality.
The other symbol refers to the shape of the medieval church in Göhren.
Literature: Ulle, 1997.
