Official blazon
English Green; a naval standard mine silver winged gold its mooring cable gold debruised by two barrulets in base engrailed and invected silver.

Motto: Semper fidelis

Origin/meaning

Design originaly for a 1915 Destroyer-Minesweeper. Abdiel was a Seraph who withstod Satan and urged the Angels to revolt. The Motto in Latin translates as "Always faithful". The Badge was approved in 1926.
