Département : Moselle

Blason de Diane-Capelle
Official blazon
French De sinople au croissant d'argent soutenant une chapelle du même; chapé ployé d'argent à trois fasces de gueules.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The village was reconstructed in the 17th century under Diane de Croÿ. The bars in the arms are taken from the Ccroy family arms. The chapel is canting and the crescent is the ancient symbol for the Greek goddess Diana.
