Grün über Rot durch einen silbernen, gewellten Leistenstab geteilt; oben ein silberner Eichenzweig mit drei Blättern und zwei aufrechten gestielten Eicheln, unten zwei silberne, mit den Spitzen nach oben gekreuzte Senseneisen.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on January 13, 1997.

The municipality is split into two parts, one with forests in the North, and a more agricultural part in the South. This is symbolised in the arms with the oak leaves and scythes. The wavy division line refers to the Ohre river.
