DUMMERSTORF
State : Mecklenburg-Vorpommern
District (Kreis) : Rostock
Additions: 2009 Damm, Kavelstorf, Kessin, Lieblingshof, Prisannewitz
German | In Silber sechs rote von drei Ankerhölzern und einem Querriegel gehaltene, mit Abstand im Bogen angeordnete Palisaden. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on June 25, 2020.
The six pales represent the 6 former municipalities which merged in 2009, symbolised by the horizontal bar. The colours are those of the Preen family, a noble family from Mecklenburg that had much influence in the area.
