Escudo de azul, com uma estrela de seis raios prata carregado por um rodízio de vermelho realçado de ouro, posto em em pala. Em chefe e contra-chefe, uma faixa ondada de prata. Escudo cercado pelo Colar da Ordem de Torre e Espada. Coroa mural de cinco torres de prata. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro, em maiúsculas : " CIDADE DA COVILHÃ ".
